Receiving the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, due to its international nature and elite group of winners, is an extremely important accolade for our design team. Their passion, creativity and ability contributed to the creation of this innovative product, which not only serves its purpose perfectly, but also catches the eye with its unique design.

We are particularly proud that it has been recognised by design experts. This definitely encourages us to continue our efforts to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing products that enhance the daily activities of gardeners.

Dobry Wzór 2020

The ERGO™ automatic garden hose reel from Cellfast is the winner of the GOOD DESIGN 2020 award. This is Poland’s most important design and innovation award, which has been granted for almost 30 years by the Institute of Industrial Design.

Cellfast’s ERGO™ automatic reel is a state-of-the-art device for storing a garden hose in an aesthetically pleasing housing that can be hung on a building wall. Thanks to the automatic retraction mechanism, the hose automatically retracts into the housing when pulled harder.

The ERGO™ automatic hose reel was designed by the KABO&PYDO duo who have been working with Cellfast for years. The designers noticed that there was a lack of this type of product on the market that was in harmony with the architecture, so they focused on designing a device that was not flashy. When working on the retractor, they combined all aspects related to ergonomics, convenience of use with a minimalist, attractive design.

In awarding the appliance, the jury of the GOOD DESIGN 2020 competition recognised the manufacturer’s consistency in adding further valuable elements to its successful range of garden tools. The experts also pointed out that the retractor is stylistically consistent with the other products in the ERGO™ series, is characterised by its impeccable form and carefully crafted ergonomic details that allow it to be used for long periods of time and in comfort.

Złoty Medal MTP 2019 – Wybór konsumenta

The Gold Medal – Consumer’s Choice award is given in the second stage of the competition. This award is all the more valuable because it is awarded by the consumers themselves in a direct vote.

Consumers decided on another award for Pastel tools. Thanks to the votes of the participants in the plebiscite organised by the Poznań International Fair, Cellfast’s care tools received the GOLD MEDAL 2019 – CONSUMERS’ CHOICE award. The competition included all Gold Medal winners awarded at the GARDENIA 2019 International Garden and Architecture Fair in the gardening equipment and chemicals category. The victory was unquestionable, as Pastels won almost 48 per cent of all votes cast in the competition. – The accolade is proof of the recognition of the entire horticultural industry. At the same time, it is an important recommendation that positively influences the purchasing decision of a potential customer. – says Jakub Patelka of MTP.

In previous years, the DISCOVER hose trolley was also among the winners of this competition. Recognised by consumers, it was awarded the “Gold Medal – Consumer’s Choice”.

TOP Design Award 2018

Care tools from the Pastel series have won recognition from Polish design experts. The experts appreciated their unique form, ergonomics and also the excellent design of the duo KABO&PYDO and Cellfast Design Group. Cellfast tools received an award in the garden category and this was one of seven titles awarded this year. In selecting the winners, the jury also recognised the excellent workmanship of the product. The TOP DESIGN awards have been granted for 10 years now during the arena DESIGN event held in Poznań. This is the only event of its kind in Poland, during which manufacturers and designers meet in a business atmosphere. During it, the latest trends in design are presented, as well as the most up-to-date achievements in the field of design.

The TOP DESIGN award 2018 is already another award to the credit of the Pastel series. Cellfast also received the international iF Design Award 2018 this year for its extremely elegant tools.

Red Dot Award 2018

The Red Dot Awards have been awarded since 1955 by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen. Due to their highly prestigious nature, they are referred to as the Oscars of Design. They are awarded exclusively to manufacturers of innovative, high-quality products that are distinguished by their modern design. In addition to good design, when awarding the Red Dot, experts also assess the entries in terms of the sustainability of the products as an expression of respect for the surrounding environment. Cellfast products fit perfectly into this philosophy.

The Pastel range of care tools and the ERGO XS™ retractor have won the world’s most important design awards. The Red Dot awards are known as the industry’s Oscars. An international jury of 39 industrial design experts, scientists, designers and journalists awarded the best-designed, innovative, high-quality products.

The award-winning designs of the Pastel line and the ERGO XS™ retractor had formidable competition this year. In total, more than 6,300 products competed for the award. This is the highest number of entries in the competition’s history.When awarding the Red Dot, the experts assessed the entries not only for good design, but also for the sustainability of the products as an expression of respect for the surrounding environment. Cellfast products fit perfectly into this philosophy.
