iF Design Award 2017
Our ERGO™ axes have been awarded the iF Design Award, one of the most important design awards in the world, with over 60 years of tradition and a global reputation.
The iF Design Award is a mark of quality and exceptional design recognized around the world.
The competition is organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH, Germany’s oldest independent organization dedicated to promoting design.
Since 1953, the iF Design Awards have been an acknowledgment of first-class design.
This year’s edition of the competition attracted more than 5,500 entries.

The iF Design Award is given in seven categories divided into thematic divisions.
Our ERGO™ axes were recognized in the “Product” category, the “Garden” division.
A guarantee of the iF Design Award’s high reputation is the composition of the international 58-member jury, which includes not only Germany’s most important design authorities, but also design specialists from European universities, design studios and industrial design companies.
This year’s jury also included experts from the United States, China, Japan, Taiwan, India or Brazil – in total, the jury representatives represented as many as 19 countries, the deliberations lasted two days, and the experts, out of thousands of submitted products, considered the new line of ERGO™ axes to be truly exceptional!
The competition will culminate in a prestigious awards ceremony to be held on March 10, 2017 at the BMW Welt Conference Center in Munich.
