Pristine GOOD DESIGN.

Cellfast’s designers and developers have received exceptional recognition from the jury of the prestigious GOOD DESIGN 2018 competition.
In the 25th anniversary edition, the experts awarded the PASTEL™ line of care tools in the home category.
They also awarded an honorable mention for the design and implementation of both the tools and the ERGO XS™ garden hose reel.

The GOOD DESIGN competition is the country’s most important award in the field of design and innovation, which has been granted for 25 years by the Institute of Industrial Design.
This year, 26 of the 119 finalists were awarded.
Among those selected were logos, applications, home furnishings and even means of transportation.

Double winner

Cellfast was awarded twice this year.
In the home category, the PASTEL™ line of personal care tools was recognized.
In awarding the prize, the jury pointed to the product’s excellent fit with the needs of the market, which today demands, even from everyday items, an impeccable and visually appealing form, conformity with trends, as well as comfort and safety based on ergonomic research.

– When designing them we could really go wild,” says designer Tomasz Pydo.
– We created products that are light, unique and… elegant.
Their unique design makes them eye-catching for customers.

Those, in turn, will certainly appreciate more than just the design.
– The tools are well-balanced, so they fit perfectly in the hand, and they are made of top-quality materials,” says Rafal Slabik, Cellfast’s marketing and sales director.
Marketing and sales director of Cellfast.

In turn, the experts justified the award for the design and implementation of both the care tools and the ERGO XS™ retractor on the grounds that gardening is a lifestyle for many.
The jury noted that it is not only the functionality of the tools and their durability, but also the design that matters more and more.
As the justification reads:

Cellfast has responded to these needs by employing young designers to show that design can be applied even to such mundane (and literal) items as garden tools.
Rewarding the designers working for Cellfast makes us all the more proud that the company is operating in the EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN Special Economic Zone managed by the Industrial Development Agency of Tarnobrzeg.
